Loving the Pughs

I started going back to work five weeks ago, it has been so nice to have something to do!  I only work three days a week so Brogan and I have a couple days to snuggle and play just the two of us!  

Peyton is so in LOVE!  

She is so sweet with him and always says, "im such a good sister!"  She loves her pacifier, so naturally Brogan needs his anytime it is not in his mouth!  She cracks me up, she is always trying to give it to him and to any adult he clearly doesn't want it!  She dances for him, reads to him, tells him her own stories, shows him toy after toy after toy!  I can tell these two are really going to LOVE eachother once he is sitting up, grabbing things and loves toys as much as she does!  He just stares and smiles at her all day!  He sleeps so good when I am at work, we are talking two hour naps!  That never happens at home, he is a bit of a cat napper!  Clearly peyton just wears him, I have no other explanation for the sleep!  

Today I had the rest of the kids and got pictures of a couple with Brogan!

He loves miss Arianna and her braces he smiles at her more than anyone except for mommy and daddy!

Love this family to death, we are so blessed to have them in our lives!

FIVE MONTHS!

I cant believe my little boy is five months!  

Yesterday was such a big day we started wearing 3 month clothing!  

WOHOO! 

It is very bittersweet saying that he is five months, my little man is growing so fast! He is starting to love bath time, he is eating a little over five ounces every two and a half hours!  I know, not much but it is a lot for Brog!  He is also into size one diapers, they were huge when he first started wearing them but he has grown into them pretty fast compared to when he first started wearing newborn diapers!  What was he wearing before new born diapers you ask?

Brogans Blessing

Two weeks ago this coming Sunday we finally got to bless our beautiful boy!

  I was a little nervous that he would be a nightmare and scream the whole time because he is older and more alert, and the little man has quite the temper on him!   To my surprise he only gave out a few squeals here and there, I believe there was a total of five!

He did fantastic, I was so proud of him!  

Cade is such an eloquent speaker and gave a beautiful blessing!  He loves his little boy so much and it certainly showed as he was blessing him!  Also after he was done he was holding Brogan up to show everyone and gave him a little smooch on the cheek!  So sweet!  Brogan has some lovely cheekers to smooch on! 

I must say this little man looked so handsome on his big day!

HOUSE!!!!!!!!

Thats right!  It is official! We, as in the Norman Family are building a house!  We are building in Nampa, it is in the cutest little neighborhood about three minutes away from the Idaho center exit! 

 Exciting?  

Yes I know!  

We signed the papers last night and in 30 days we will officially be breaking ground!  It should be built in 90 days which puts us in no later then 

January 24th of 2012!  

YAHOO!!!!  

Here is the floorplan!!!

This is the house that made us fall in love with the floor plan when we walked through it!  We were ready to make an offer right then and there and found out that the night before somebody had put in a really good offer so it would have been a waste of our time to put in a back up offer on it!  

Cade being the negotiator he is had the fantastic idea to make them an offer to build us the same exact house, right across the street!  Kind of different but the house that we love is in the same subdivision across the street as is this lot that we have had our eyes on for a few weeks!  We were going to build a different floor plan but we are so thrilled we found this one instead, it has everything we want in our first home!  

We are so excited!

A BIG THANK YOU!

I want to take a moment and thank everyone who kept us in their thoughts and prayers while our Brogan was in the hospital!  I cannot even begin to express our gratitude to all of you!  The three of us could not have done it without all the support!  

I have often thought about the questions Brogan will ask one day, mostly I know he will be curious about his scar!  I know other kids will too, the little girl I nanny for is so concerned about it and asks about it every time I change his diaper at work!  I know he is going to wonder what he went through!  

I plan on telling him that he was a little fighter from the very beginning!  

That he made his mommy and daddy so proud!  

I will be sure to tell him how much love we felt for him.  

How much love other people had for him, people that had never even laid eyes on him!  

I will tell him that even though he was such a strong little boy he could not have gone through what he did without the prayers from everyone who loved him!  

I will tell him that his heavenly father heard everyone's thoughts and prayers and that they were answered! 

 I will tell him that his Heavenly Father loved him so much that he blessed him with an accomplishment almost everyday! 

 I will tell him that we do not know why he came early and had to go through all of that, and that we may never know why but that we have to know that we grew from it! 

 I will tell him how daddy and I became closer and stronger then we ever were. 

 I will tell him that the time he spent in the hospital our faith was tested time and time again!

  I will tell him that as hard as all of it was our Heavenly Father knew best and that we became better people through all of it!  

So thank you to all of you who helped us through that time in our lives!  We can never thank you enough for  your love and kindness!
