Month of May

We are still alive!  Can you believe it?  May was a busy busy month for us, Im not quite sure where it went and now it is my handsome boys birthday week!  The idea of him turning one is mind boggling!  Where has the time gone?!  It is very bittersweet!  I am so looking forward to his birthday though, I have been planning for quite sometime!  

My sister in law, Brooke Graduate from ISU the beginning of may!  So happy for her and her accomplishment!

We had such a great time in Pocky... After Brookes graduation we went to a BBQ her friends did for her.  It was nice to sit down and visit with lots of Family!

Brogan and I went to Idaho Falls with my parents for my cousins Senior Recital in Rexburg!  She is amazing, she sings opera, it is absolutely breathtaking!  Brogan was pretty entertained throughout her performance, I was beyond thrilled about that!  My other cousin had her Bridal shower that same weekend!  I am such a dork and did not get any pictures that weekend but we had a great time!  I think my parents had the most fun because we shared a hotel room in Idaho Falls.  I think they have missed seeing Brogan everyday like they did when we lived with them for a little over a month!  

  

We also celebrated Cades brother Brody's birthday in Twin Falls with his family! He turned the big 21!  Surprise surprise no pictures again.  

We went back to Idaho Falls for my cousins wedding!  It was so fun to spend a few days with family.  After the reception we headed up to my aunt and uncles cabin in Island park and stayed there for a few days!  It was so wonderful, we did not want to leave.  We actually ended up staying a day longer than planned!  Cade kept telling me he was going to quit his job and that we would just live off the land, he so sweetly added he would find someway to have a TJ MAXX built nearby!  He knows me too well!  We also celebrated my sisters birthday with her husbands family!  Brogan had a wicked cold while we were there and it was rainy and snowing most of the time we were there so we did not do to much but I did manage to snap a few pictures!

My mom and I were in the kitchen of the cabin and my mom pointed out the window and said you need to go grab you camera...  I had no Idea Cade had bundled him up and taken him outside for a walk.  They were so cute!  Such boys, Cade told me he was showing Brogan what ants on fire look like!  

I love these handsome men so much!  

Any chance we have we go to the park with our buddy Ashton(my sister watches her nephew).

Easter

We had a wonderful first Easter with our handsome little man!  There is nothing more exciting than holidays with a child!  At my moms house the "Easter Bunny" still comes to visit us as well as "Santa" every Christmas!  I can totally understand her excitement and enthusiasm now!  It is soooo much fun!  I could not sleep Saturday night because I was so excited for Easter with Brogan! Kind of ridiculous, I know!
Anyway we had stake conference and Brogan was a turkey so he won and we left early and we all took a long afternoon nap and then went over to my parents for dinner with my family!  It was so wonderful!  Is there a better way to spend Easter?  I think not!  I am so grateful for my beautiful and amazing family!  I adore the relationships I have with each and every one of my family members!  It was one of those days that you dont want to end!  :)

7 Months

Brogan turned seven months on tuesday!  So crazy how fast time flies!  We had a follow up appointment with the NICU yesterday...  I was having all sorts of nightmares about taking him to this appointment...  I just knew they were going to want to take some blood, do an eye exam or something horrible!  However it went really well, the Physical therapist from the NICU came in and just played with Brog to see how is developing!  She said he looks great!  She said he is about four to six weeks ahead of his corrected age which is four and a months.  I cant believe he is only supposed to be four and a half months!  Any way this is what our little guy is up to at seven months!

His hair is getting long and thick

He is a big helper with everything

Oh yeah, they weighed him yesterday

He is, 15 lbs and 26 in long

We love this little man so much!  He has been so rotten while we have been living with parents the past few weeks...  BTW, we are most likely moving into our new home on Saturday!  I am so stinking excited!

Daddy

Right now I am sitting in our spare room listening to Cade tell Brogan " I Love You," over and over again as they are playing together in the living room!  My heart is full of gratitude for Cade and all that he does for our family and the love that he has for his son and wife!  Brogan and I are so blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives!

About To Go INSANE

Over the past eight weeks that Brogan has been home I have noticed a few extra pounds taking up residence on my body!  My stomach looks as though I am expecting again, I, for the first time in my life have a true muffin top,  I have flabby arms, like relief society style, and my thighs touch when I stand, again that has never happened!  

Everyone who knows me well knows I am the worlds worst grazer, but starting tomorrow I am going to try and eat five small meals a day, healthy meals!  

No more HO HO's!  

Those have been my staple for eight weeks!  I do love my sweets but no more!  

Tomorrow is a new day!  I am starting INSANITY!  

I am so excited but very nervous!  I watched the "fitness test," OH MY GOODNESS, Kill me now!  If you dont hear from me after tomorrow you will know why, I died trying!  A little dramatic but really I have heard that it is insanely hard!  

Wish me luck!
